The only redeeming part of the story is that it wasn't only the woman who received such a ridiculous sentence. The man got 1000 lashes and five years in prison.
What is this religion so afraid of that they behave in such a barbaric manner?

Started dating later in life, after 9-year marriage ended. No long-term relationships since then, mostly one-and-dones. On a few occasions, however, much to my surprise and contrary to the way I had been raised, I had amazing first date sex, felt a connection with the other person and went with it. Each lasted for several months after that. So what's so bad about first date sex?

Answer by johnb693 Usually because it's a roll of the dice, sometimes the dice roll up in your favor, sometimes they don't. So it's always a lot more riskier, when you don't know you are having sex with. You were just lucky those times. Maybe the next ones won't be so lucky.

Ok, I know I am gonna get 'you're so judgemental and rude' comments, but I don't care... coz here goes.....
On this programme, AND in the school that my 2 nieces go to, ALL the under-age girls having sex are chavs and pretty thick and often from lower working class and underclass families with mums with facial piercings, tattooes and muffin tops. Why is this?
I have noticed that the girls who are bright and acedemic (my 2 nieces included) are still virgins. And they are 15 and 17. And girls from more middle class and upper working class families tend to be more likely to be virgins til past 16/17 too.
Don't give me any of your 'what a gross sweeping generalisation' garbage either! EVERYthing I have said is true, and you know it. EVERY girl my nieces and my sister and my friends and I know who sleep around and who have had at least one abortion before 16, are chavs, from dysfunctional families on sink estates... So why is this?

Answer by SMEG AND THE HEADS Yes it is true. I think most teenage sexual activity and teenage pregnancies seem to come from lower class families. And yes they are not very bright. It is always the thick chavs that get pregnant, but then their mothers are thick chavs too, so what do you expect?! Trouble is, it's too easy for them to get a council house and live on benefits.
